Ingredients: 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour; 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper; 4 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless; natural olive oil nonstick cooking spray; 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice; 4 garlic cloves, minced; 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce; 1 teaspoon italian seasoning; 1 dash hot pepper sauce; 2 tablespoons walnuts, toasted and chopped; 4 teaspoons grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese; 4 wheat sandwich buns, sliced lengthwise; 4 romaine lettuce leaves

ingredients

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¹⁄₂ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
4 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
natural olive oil nonstick cooking spray
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 dash hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons walnuts, toasted and chopped
4 teaspoons grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese
4 wheat sandwich buns, sliced lengthwise
4 romaine lettuce leaves

directions

Combine flour and pepper. Coat chicken with flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Spray a 10-inch skillet with cooking spray for 2 seconds; over medium heat, lightly brown chicken on both sides.
Combine lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce and italian seasoning; pour over chicken.
Cover; simmer for 15 minutes or until chicken is done.
Sprinkle walnuts and cheese over chicken.
Arrange lettuce on sandwich rolls; top with chicken.
Serve immediately.

Someone special recently gifted me with membership ~ I don't know who, but know they are special :D! Thank you! It is much appreciated.... My parents owned a grocery store when I was growing up, so there's my love of FOOD! My friends all love to drink, so there's my profession! I stopped bartending 5 years ago, when my son was born, but still 'do' private parties. DH and I did a 'Supper Club' for a while, but life kept getting in the way! I am a SAHM, to a rambunctious 5 y.o....I LOVE cooking and collect cookbooks and anything kitchen related! I'm kinda picky, but will just drop an ingredient or make a sub, so I can still try a recipe. I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment here, and hope to participate in some events soon!
