This is the exact, authentic recipe. I have worked at a couple of different cafe's, as well as Johnny CArinos restaurant, and the only difference between the Carinos one is that we used to use Sprite instead of club soda. So, make it with Sprite if you prefer, but that isn't an Italian soda. It's flavored Sprite.

Epic Fail!! Reading through the reviews I found someone mention this was the same recipe that Olive Garden uses... That explains a lot. Next time your at Olive Garden try one. Then go to Johnny Corino's and try one. You'll never want an Italian Cream Soda any place else. Well, guess I have to keep looking until I can make one at home like at Corino's

YUMMY!!! This is sooo good. I love Italian Sodas and this hits the spot. Just like the Italian Soda you get at Restaurants and places that sell them. I used Peach syrup and it came out really flavorful. I used lemon lime soda in place of the club soda. I did not top it with whipped cream. This recipe will save me a lot of money. Thanks for a great recipe Kimke.

I live in Omaha NE and am an audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital. I love to cook, as does my husband Michael. In the summer, we have a large garden and try to use alot of fresh fruits/veggies in our cooking. We have a 5 year old daughter, Kate and almost 2 year old son Sam and enjoy introducing them to new foods. One of their favorites is fresh pesto smeared on crackers!
