- 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 ounce Amaretto or 1/4-1/2 ounce almond-flavored syrup
- 2 -4 ounces hot fresh espresso (sweetened to taste) or 2 -4 ounces strong coffee (sweetened to taste)
- 1⁄2 - 1 ounce sambuca romana
- whipped cream, for garnish
directions
- Pour the amaretto into a tempered glass mug.
- Add in the espresso and sambuca; give a little stir.
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
- Salute.
