I thought this was a darn good meatloaf! We paired it with a side of spaghetti and it was the perfect size meal. Next time I will try to add some Italian seasonings to the meat mixture itself. Another idea was to add a layer of sauce and cheese between two layers of meat, and still have the cheese layer on the top. Of course, it was delicious just as is, too. A great meatloaf recipe - thanks!

I personally just don't have any luck with meatloaf. It had all the ingredients my family likes but I did have to add some of the tomato sauce into the meatloaf as it was a little too dry to hold together. Followed the cooking instructions but for some reason mine stuck to the bottom of the pan. Family said it was good but was a little too dry, needed more flavor and they didn't care for the parmesan cheese in it although parmesan is a favorite in this house. I'm just not good with meatloaf no matter what I do or what recipe I use. I must have a meatloaf phobia.

I'm married and have two boys. They love good food and can eat plenty of it. Thank heavens I inherited my cooking and baking skills from my Mother and Grandmother. I'm not what you call a fancy cook, but I know how to put "good tasting" food on the table. I love the Taste Of Home Annual Cookbooks......they are good down home recipes from normal people like me. I would love to be able to submit more recipes but my time is so limited with a full time job and my two sons. Hopefully soon I can find more time for not only cooking but sharing these favorites with my 'zaar' friends.
