  1. How delicious can a coffee get? Not only that but is so simple! I'll admit that I cut back on the Amaretto to something around 1/2 to 3/4 of an ounce. That and I might have made the ice cream with generous tbsp's. Still I feel no gilt as I used sugar free ice cream. Twiss, my dear, you have done it again! Wonderful. Made for Comfort Cafe, Jan 09.

  2. I enjoyed this as a special treat after dinner last night. I love Amaretto and it is delicious in coffee! Thanks for sharing. Congrats on another football pool win, twissis.

  3. This was the finale to a great Italian dinner I prepared for family and friends. TFS.

  5. YUMMMMMM! and surprisingly enough all ingredients I had on hand. Made this exactly as directed and it was wonderful as expected. I made this to warm myself up after taking the puppy out for a walk when it's only 10°F outside. This will be a frequent treat through the winter, and will probably be great iced and blended in the summer too. Thanks for posting.

I am an American transplanted from Dallas to Iceland by marriage to a native Icelander & I retired to become his "Kitchen Queen". We love to entertain our family & friends, so I have an eclectic collection of recipes. I especially love simple, easy-fix, flexible & make-ahead recipes - BUT also like challenging myself on occasion. I enjoy baking & food photography. I am devoted to the "More is Always Better Principle" & apply it liberally to bacon, butter & garlic. I can have ingredient issues due to availability here in Iceland & my DH is medically diet-restricted from some ingredients as well. Either situation might require me to modify a recipe, but I will do my best to be true to your recipes & fair/honest in my reviews. Mary Pat (aka twissis)
