  1. In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil; transfer to a 3 quart slow cooker.
  2. Add the next 10 ingredients; mix well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until chicken juices run clear.
  4. Discard bay leaf.
  5. Stir in the pasta; cover and cook on high for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in shrimp; cover and cook for 2 minutes or until the shrimp are heated through.
