  1. This pasta salad was fantastic. Very easy to make. The salad supreme and Italian dressing make for a very zesty combination. I made it the night before, like you suggested so the flavors had time to soak in. I served this pasta salad along with a small green salad and White Zin. One incredible meal. Thanks.

  2. ITALIAN???? Please don't call it Italian spaghetti Salad because in Italy even the dog dosen't eat Spaghetti salad. In italy we eat only hot spaghetti cooked in a milion way but not cold, and not like salad. But don't worry, around the 80% recepies that I fond on internet about Italian dish are not really Italian, like Alfredo sauce that here nobody know it. I wish you to try one day the realy italian food.

  3. I make this every summer. I add lots of fresh chopped veggies. red and Green bell peppers, celery, peas, carrots and artichoke hearts.....whatever I have on hand. Everybody always raves about it and it is so easy to put together.

  4. This was a very easy recipe to make. The McCormick salad supreme dry seasoning mix really added a lot to the taste of this salad. I used Wish Bone 4 cheese Italian salad dressing. I think this recipe would also be good using Catalina salad dressing instead of the italian. Thanks for a great recipe NurseDi

  5. A response to the 3/7/2015 review left by Anonymous. My neighbor, and also dear friend, was raised in a small village in Italy. During WWII, an unfortunate donkey broke his leg. When I inquired what became of the poor beast, she replied, "They ate him". The poster of this recipe is a founding member of the old Recipezaar. I always trust her recipes as being reliable. This dish was DELICIOUS!! I added an extra cucumber and a diced green pepper, and used Wishbone Italian dressing. Being in Texas, we have hot weather nine months of the year. Therefore, we are always looking for cold dishes to make that don't heat up our kitchens. We will use this one a lot! It would also be great for potlucks or funerals, where it is difficult to heat up many dishes and you might have picky eaters. Di, thank you for a wonderful recipe!!

  1. i love this recipe!!! i have used it for years, (too many years). i also add small grape tomatoes and kalamata olive at time of serving to the recipe and have been known to use tortellini instead of the spaghetti.
