  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  • Stir packet of gold star chili spice mix into cooked ground beef.
  • Spread cream cheese on bottom of baking tray.
  • Spread ground beef over the cream cheese.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
  • If you want to go Midwestern Authentic, serve with Ruffles potato chips. Crackers or tortilla chips also work.
