- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 loaf French bread
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
directions
- Mix sugar, melted butter, corn syrup and spices.
- Spread into buttered 9x13 dish.
- Lay sliced french bread on top.
- Mix eggs, milk vanilla.
- Pour over french bread.
- Refridgerate overnight.
- Bake uncovered at 325 degrees 35-40 minutes.
- Flip french bread over (syrup side up) before serving.
