- 3 lbs hamburger
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 green peppers, chopped
- 6 carrots, chopped
- 4 celery ribs, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chicken soup base
- 2 tablespoons beef base
- 48 fl ounces heinz tomato juice
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons basil
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- water, to cover
directions
- Brown Hamburger.
- Add rest of ingredients in large pot. Add 2 inches of water
- to cover the soup in pot.
- simmer on stove till soup starts to reduce. 1- 1 1/2 hours.
