Directions were a little murky here, always hard when you have adopted a recipe. I was a little unsure if this was intended to be a drop cookie, as the name would imply, or a bar cookie, as suggested by the instructions. After making the dough, decided it was a drop cookie. The dough is very soft and tender and yields a buttery shortbread like cookie My own sense is it needs perhaps an additional tablespoon of flour. (Maybe that means it should have been a bar, but I don't think there was enough dough to make much more than a VERY thin bar.) The cookie is not at all sweet which I liked, but most may want to add a little more sugar as well as a bit of salt. I baked mine for 12 minutes - to a pale golden brown - and think 15 minutes would have been too much. I liked the cookie but thought it was a little crumbly, not holding together well. That said, the cookies were a gift and the recipients loved them. Made for *Newest Zaar Tag*.
