- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 cup cider vinegar
- 3⁄4 cup olive oil
directions
- Place the bouillon cube in a bowl with 2 tbsp water. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to dissolve cube.
- Place sugar in a bowl and add pepper, garlic powder, and vinegar. Stir and let set 5 minutes.
- Whisk in the dissolved bouillon and gradually add oil in a slow steady stream while whisking vigorously.
- Whisk again before serving.

A very good and inspirational recipe. I did make a few changes. I used 3/4 tsp. sugar, and used white vinegar. I added 1/4 tsp of Italian herbs seasoning. I also added 2 Tbsp. of lite mayo to give a slightly creamy consistency. Yes, I did make changes, but it was good even before I did. I really like the chicken bouillon idea. It gives it a distinct richness. Oh, that was another change... I used chicken broth base since I did not have the cubes.
