  1. line a pan with oiled baking paper.
  2. cut the strawberries into fine slices.
  3. place one sheet pastry on pan on oiled baking paper.
  4. cut other sheet into 3 cm slices along the entire length of sheet.
  5. mix egg with milk in a cup or glass disk.
  6. brush pastry edges and build an edge using cut strips.
  7. egg wash edges in between.
  8. prick uncovered part of sheet with fork and place in 140 degree oven for 20 minutes to part cook - until it looks light golden - not fully cooked.
  9. heat jam in mug in microwave for 40 seconds.
  10. brush jam into pastry sheet covering all of the central part.
  11. place strawberries side by side on the middle part until all is covered.
  12. brush edges with egg wash and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on edges.
  13. place in oven for 20-30 minutes.
  14. When golden take out and let cool.
  15. serve with a dollop of cream.
