Julie's Death by Chocolate

"This an easy and delicious chocolate desert. I don't know where this recipe came from but we make it all the time for desert. It's made with chocolate cake mix like Duncan Hine's or Betty Crocker. 2 Skorr bars are broken up and added to the pudding after it has thickened."

  • 515 g chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 78 g Skor candy bars (or Crispy Crunch for a peanutty taste)
  • 4 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 -2 cup whipped cream (or Dream Whip)
  • 1 -2 tablespoon grated chocolate

  • Cook your favorite chocolate cake recipe.
  • Prepare your pudding and refridgerate for about 10 minutes so that it will thicken.
  • Let the cake cool.
  • Break the Skor bar into tiny pieces and mix them into the pudding.
  • Cut the cooled chocolate cake into cubes about 1 to 2 inches in size.
  • Pour the pudding over the cake cubes.
  • Top the whole thing with whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with grated chocolate.
  • You can make this in a big bowl or single serving sizes.
  • Yummy.
