  1. I added medicated semi sweet chocolate and wow! Delicious easy and effective for bulging disc pain!

  2. These were excellent. I used pecans and added 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips. I made them in half batches because my big pan was dirty. =P They still came out super soft and chewy. Don't grease the pan too much or they will be too greasy. If you use spray, spray and blot with a paper towel to remove excess.

  3. I added espresso powder, chocolate chips, and pecans. They turned out perfectly.

  4. so i bought bisquick to make some cinnamon rolls and had a bit left over and i wanted to make a cake or brownies. this recipe was awesome, super easy and quick. i did make some changes as i did not have cocoa powder nor vanilla extract. i used 3/4 cup of brown sugar instead of the white sugar and just 1/2 cup of real butter and used cherry juice instead of water and again did not have cocoa powder so i use a 1/3 of a cup coffee chocolate blend that is too sweet for coffee but really great for baking and a 1/4 cup of chopped up butterscotch morsels and no pecans but i did have walnuts which i like better and lastly since i don't care for cake like brownies i used one whole egg and one egg white to keep them chewy. this is still the base of this brownie recipe which just a few changes for me and my family and I did have to cook it longer than the twenty five minutes because "of course" did not have the size pan in the directions but a smidge smaller one. made these an hour ago and already half gone. won't even need to put them in the fridge. very crispy outside and wonderful chewy inside. also did not get as dark since a used the coffee mix. btw, the middle in mine also caved but it made it just more chewy so a win win. I like using bisquick as opposed to some other mixes because of the three simple ingredients.

  5. These are delicious but they browned too quickly on the sides and cave in the middle. Any suggestions? Not sure its a good idea to just dump everything in a bowl all at once. I've read eggs should be added one at a time and mixed thoroughly before adding the next one. Cocoa powder should be mixed with melted butter first to dissolve it.

I would like to welcome you to my recipes. I have been with Food.com since 10/05. My beloved husband, Tom, passed away 3 years ago. My world stopped. It's taken me all this time to find my way back to life without him. I have been so blessed to have found my second, once in a lifetime. I've met an amazing man who is so good to me. We moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Bullhead City, Az. in February, and we love it here. I have worked at Bally's and Paris hotel.casinos, in Las Vegas. I have seen some very famous entertainers, including Liza Minnelli, Penn and Teller, Ray Liotta, Dr. J (Julius Erving), Frank Sinatra and his wife Barbara Marx. and many, many more. Cooking is my passion, and I am slowly, but surely beginning to venture into the world of baking. To me, cooking is so much easier because baking is so much more exact. I love to make Italian and Mexican food the best, followed by Chinese and last, but by far the least, good old American food! How can you beat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy?? I love to find several recipes and put my own spin on them and create a new recipe.
