  1. This sauce is excellent! The ginger gives it a wonderful flavor.

  2. Inez this is without a doubt delicious! We went through 7 pounds of ribs yesterday and it drew ohhs and ahhs. The honey really made this I think. I still have a 1/2 cup left and will be used on some sausage tonight. LOL! Thanks for a great keeper. Chuck

  3. This sauce is fantastic. I made it early in the day and let it simmer on low for about an hour. I put it on baby back ribs during the last hour of cooking them and they were truly outstanding. I have found my new favorite bbq sauce. Thanks!

  4. A standard bbq sauce. I left out the 1 tsp salt because of all the salt in the ketchup and soy sauce, and it was plenty salty.

  5. I have been using this sauce for over a year and just realized I had not rated it. I was looking and trying various recipes when I found this one. The search was over as soon as I made a batch of this very good and incredibly<br/>easy to make sauce. It was a bit sweet so I reduced the brown sugar to 1/2 cup and added a 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and now it is perfect for me and my guest always rave over it. Makes 1 quart and last for months in the fridge. Update 08/2010: Used molasses in place of honey with great results. Thanks MizzNezz! Update 05/11/16: Still the best BBQ sauce! UPDATE 07/12/2021: Still enjoying the Best.

  2. I used Agave instead of honey and half sugar and a splash of Lea and Perrin's Worcestershire sauce. Added to a crockpot full of ribs. My family loved it. I thought it was a little watery but that could be due to the crockpot. My husband asked for a little more spice next time, but the sweetness was perfect.

  3. Great tasting BBQ sauce, & almost good enough for dipping! The only change I made was to use 1/4 teaspoon of lemon pepper instead of the called-for salt & pepper! Easy to prepare, too! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Cookbook recipe tag]

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
