Kahlua Brownie Cheesecake Trifle

"Taking all the ingredients I love in a chocolate trifle and came up with a winner in my house. The Kahlua, walnuts and cheesecake flavored pudding make this a nice rich chocolate masterpiece. Everyone asks me to bring this even thou I've shared the recipe ;) They say, it's the way "I" make it ... I think they just want ME to bring it.... Try it - you'll get the ooooh and awwhs! I love to make this before leaving for the lake and after spending the day playing in the sun, come home to this cool and creamy dessert! My boys do to."

  1. Wow, how great! This wa gone in a moment at work. Even my friend that does not like chocolate ate this. this has moved to a work favorite!

  2. We took this to church for potluck today! Everyone loved it. We doubled the recipe and only had a small bowl leftover. We did skip adding the kahlua due to taking it to church and maybe medications people might be taking. Wonderful recipe!

  3. WOW!! Fabulous dessert! I can't bring myself to buy brownie mixes when they are so easy to make from scratch. I used Recipe#229057 but other than that, I followed the recipe as written. This was a huge hit at our family Christmas Eve party. Very easy and worth every calorie. Thanks for posting such a wonderful recipe!

  4. I brought this to work for a potluck and it was a "fan favorite" !! I ran into someone a week later that wasn't even in my work area but somehow had a taste and they just raved about how good it was. I am going to make it again because it's just that good! I think the real trick with this dessert is to get a really good, rich brownie.

  5. Sinfully delicious! As I always do with recipes, in an attempt to make it not quite so calorie laden, I did sub sugar free/fat free puddings made with light cool whip and half skim and half 2% milk (trying to use up some skim milk, but knew it needed some fat so leftovers wouldn't be watery). My subs didn't hinder the taste one bit, especially since that's what I'm used to. I didn't really taste the Kahlua (maybe dh was light handed with it), but would probably just leave it out next time. My toffee bits were quite crumbled, but did the trick. Since this makes a lot, would recommend serving to guests, so you won't eat the whole bowl! Thanks for posting this delicious dessert!

I don't think there's anything better than spending time with family and friends and enjoying delicious food together. I just love food. I love reading about food, writing about food, cooking food and.. not surprisingly, eating food. My latest passion is food-photography! I'm still learning a lot, but I'm trying to post photos with all my recipes and reviews. I read recipe books, magazines and food blogs like novels. I get such satisfaction when someone enjoys a meal or dessert that I have prepared. It is the biggest compliment to me when my family and friends rave about my cooking. There are so many terrific recipes on this site. If I'm looking for something, I'm sure to find it here. I do have stacks of my own favorite recipes which I am slowly but surely getting in my cookbooks here . I have had so many awesome reviews and fabulous photos taken of my recipes... I try to thank everyone personally .. I sincerely appreciate each and every review and or comment left. I know it takes time to photograph and upload photos - So I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for finding and trying my recipes and taking the extra effort...
