  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together; cool slightly.
  3. Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla with the butter/chocolate mixture for 5 minutes.
  4. Add Kahlua then add the flour; beat just to blend.
  5. Stir in the nuts, if desired.
  6. Spread in a buttered 9" x 13" pan.
  7. Bake 35 to 40 minutes- Do Not Overbake.
  8. Cool completely.
