  1. Place butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Once melted, add onions and saute until soft.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
  6. Use on chicken or ribs- be sure to wait till the meat is almost done to baste with sauce so that the sugar in it doesn't burn.
