Kathi's Fruit Punch

"I had this Fruit Punch this summer at a small family reunion of sorts at my Uncle's place, made by my cousin Katherine. I have since made it several times for events surrounding my sister-in-laws wedding, which also took place this summer, and it was a huge hit each time...I made frozen fruit ice rings each time I made it, with varied fruit, I especially liked using sliced oranges & lemons with sliced strawberries & /or cherries, it looked very nice, made a nice presentation, as the punch is a nice deep colour...... and it is soooo simple to throw together!"

  1. This made a nice tasting punch. I used 12 oz. cans for all the juice since the size wasn't stated. Next, time I might try the smaller size because it tasted a little on the sweet side to me but a little sweet goes a long way with me. I gave it 5 stars because I might have used the wrong size cans of juice but I liked the flavor of it. Thanks Rhonda J. Bullwinkle.

  2. I made this punch for our boys' Eagle Court of Honor for 75 people this weekend, and everyone loved it. To me it was just a little too sweet, and maybe could have stood a little more Sprite, but over all, it was quite a success.

About me....well...let's see, right now I am a married, stay-at-home Mom to two beautiful children, a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son....they are the "lights" of my life, which I think I pretty much spent waiting for them! I feel so very lucky (and truly blessed) to be their "Mommy". I don't know that I have a fave cookbook, (and I have rarely opened one of the many I have, since finding Zaar.) I just LOVE recipes and have been "acquiring" them since I was a teenager! Actually I think I bought my first cookbook in like grade two or three, a cookie recipe book from one of those scholastic book orders!
