  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, eggs, vanilla and sugar.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until the mixture is well blended.
  • Spread batter evenly in a parchment lined 11 X 13 inch cookie sheet (for thin brownies) or a 9 X 12 inch cake pan.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan.
  • Cut into 1 to 2 inch squares.
  • For gift mix purposes, you can layer all the dry ingredients into a large jar and attach a tag. For instructions, cream butter, eggs and vanilla extract. Then mix in jar of ingredients.
