Kelli's Kentucky Pie

"This recipe is great because it makes two pies, one is never enough! I've tried several Derby Day pies, and ended up combining a few to result in this one."

  • Beat eggs.
  • Add sugars, vanilla, corn syrup, butter and flour. Mix.
  • Spread nuts and chocolate chips into each pie crust. (I put my chips on the bottom, then layer the nuts on top).
  • Pour ½ egg mixture over top of chocolate chips and pecans straight into crust, for each pie.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes-make sure the middle is set!
