1. Great sammie. I made as directed and used a stone ground mustard and pepper turkey. Simple and good. Thanks for sharing, Kate. I added a slice of onion on the side and really enjoyed the flavor mixed in with this. Made for Culinary Quest 2014, A Tribute to the Onion Challenge.

 2. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness...I have no frame of reference on hot browns, being a Brit, but DH and I thought that these little babies were absolutely fabulous!!
I also went with regular bacon, and used a mixture of hot English and Dijon mustard for the spicy brown mustard.
These made a wonderful weekend breakfast treat, that we demolished with alarming speed..I am SO glad that I found this little beauty..a keeper without doubt!!
Made for PRMR.

 3. Great dish, Kate! Impressive for leftovers and quick. I used a rotisserie chicken. Don't skimp on the hot sauce. Healthier than typical hot browns. And we did not miss the butter in the cheese sauce. The title made me curious so had to look up history... very interesting.

 4. These made a yummy quick dinner. Only change I made was to use regular bacon. Wasn't looking for a WW version, but just couldn't justify the amount of butter in the traditional version. Will make these again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
