ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) can baby clams, drained
- 1⁄2 cup white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can Contadina diced tomatoes or 2 large peeled, diced ripe tomatoes (Italian or pasta style works well)
- dried oregano or fresh oregano
- 3⁄4 cup black olives, pitted,sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
directions
- Saute garlic with entire can of tomatoes (with juice) in olive oil over med.
- high heat in large frying pan.
- Add wine, clams, olives and oregano.
- Heat to boiling.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve immediately over linquine or spaghetti.

This is a great recipe. I love clam sauces, and this is now my standard go to recipe. I rarely use the black olives though, and sometimes I add a bit of anchovy and lemon when I want a more intense flavor. I've been using this recipe for months, sorry I'm just now getting around to rating it. Thanks for posting it!
