  1. Great coleslaw. This was easy and tasted really close to the KFC slaw. Thanks for sharing. Made for Cookbook Tag.

  2. Delicious! I cut the recipe down for DH and I and added a few more onions but otherwise followed the recipe...definately a keeper and going into my Favorites of 2013. Thank you for posting. Made for Zaar Cookbook tag game.

  3. This was excellent! Tastes almost exactly like KFC, and it was super easy to make!!! Thank you for posting this one!

  4. I used fresh cabbage and carrots from my garden, and hubby said this was the best coleslaw I've ever made, and we've had some excellent coleslaw in the past. That's saying something! I agree completely. I'll definitely use this recipe again in the future.

  5. Absolutely marvelous!! Made this up yesterday with lovely, fresh cabbage and carrots from the garden. Put it in a bowl and it's all gone. And...we haven't even officially served it. I ADORE the lemon in this, you can't really tell it's lemon, but there is a good taste in the background and that's the lemon shining through. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful tasting coleslaw!!

Tweaks

  1. I took the recipe and cut the green cabbage in half added 4 cups of purple cabbage. Instead of the purple onion I used a yellow one. A colorful combination.

  2. I used 21/2 Tablespoons tarragon vinegar instead of white vinegar and lemon juice turned out to be a good decision it was delicious
