  1. Simply not edible with the amount of spice indicated. Half the chili sauce, crushed red pepper and tobasco to cut down on the heat.

  2. I made this for a football party and it was a hit!! Took it out of the oven and the host tried a piece, and a look of bliss spread across his face. Same with everyone else's first bite too. So many compliments. :D I used sweet asian chili sauce and the green "less heat" Tabasco sauce, also just regular red pepper flakes because that's what I had, not sure if I should have had "crushed" or not, but in any case it was the perfect amount of kick for a range of different tastes in a group. The bread was a perfect accompaniment too. I will be making this repeatedly! (as long as I can afford the cost of the raw shrimp.)

  3. I had some shrimp to use up from the freezer and went in search of a recipe and this sounded perfect. Boy, was I right! This was s-o-o-o-o tasty and easy. I served it with Uncle Ben's garlic infusion rice with the sauce poured over it and corn on the cob. Very good dinner, thanks to the shrimp. YUM!

  4. Very...very good shrimp!! I tripled the recipe to take to a New Years Eve party. I cut the amount of red pepper flakes and tabasco in half. I found this to be enough heat. I also added salt to the marinade. Just a personal preference. It was a hit!! People loved it and kept commenting how good it was. One friend said it was the best shrimp he ever had. Thanks for the excellent recipe. Will be using this one again for sure!!

  5. This is my most requested marinated shrimp recipe so far. The longer you can marinate, the better. I found that the chilled leftovers were even better than when served warm.

I have two boys who will usually eat most things I put in front of them. As a single mom I use them as my guinea pigs....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have a huge garden, blueberry and blackberry bushes. I am always looking for a new recipe. I have three cats (Xiao Mao, which means little cat in Chinese, Pumpkin and Max) and two border collies, Lucy and Grace. All my animals come from Rescue Agencies. <a href="http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/?action=view¤t=rsc002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/rsc002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/lucyatpoppys005.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"><a href="http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/?action=view¤t=006.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/006.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/?action=view¤t=hilfiger001.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/winecoff8902/hilfiger001.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">
