Directions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet till browned. Place in colander to allow excess fat to drain off.
  2. Add diced onions, bell pepper and garlic to skillet and saute till softened, about 5 minutes. Place cooked ground beef in large crockpot or stew pot for stove top. Add cooked onions, peppers and garlic.
  3. Add all the rest of the ingredients (without draining the cans). Stir well with a large spoon. Cover with a lid.
  4. Simmer in crock pot on low for 6 hours or on the stove top for an hour or so. Serve with tortilla chips and grated cheese.
