Kittencal's Really Great Old-Fashioned Lemonade

"Lemons must be at room temperature before squeezing out the juice. For pink lemonade add in a few drops of red food colouring, and for honeyed lemonade substitute liquid honey for the sugar, this is a wonderful drink on a hot summer day!"

  1. Perfect lemonade! I used one drop of gel food coloring, which was a mistake since it turned the lemonade bright banana yellow. Next time I'll just let it be pale yellow, since I only have gel food color in the house. :)

  2. Just like the name says, "really good lemonade"! Thank you for sharing with us.

  3. Nothing better than real homemade lemonade! Thanks!

  4. Delicious! There is nothing like real lemonade. I didn't add the food coloring and added just a touch less sugar than indicated, but otherwise enjoyed the recipe as written

  5. Classic. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe! (I can not use sugar, so I used sugar twin.. which each packet it is equivalent to 2 tsp. sugar... (Normal dry ingredients: 3/4 cup = 36 tsp.) So I ended up using 14 little packages.
