  • For making the koftas: Knead the paneer well.
  • Mix all the ingredients mentioned under"For Kofta" and knead well.
  • Shape into small balls.
  • Fry.
  • Keep aside.
  • For making the masala: Grind the onions in a grinder.
  • Grind the coconut and cashewnuts together.
  • Keep aside.
  • Grind the rest of the ingredients from cinnamon to green chillies.
  • Blanch the tomatoes.
  • Heat ghee in a wok.
  • Add sugar and when it browns, add cardamoms and fry.
  • Add the ground onions.
  • Stir well until the water evaporates.
  • Add the rest of the masala and fry well.
  • Add the blanched tomatoes.
  • Mix well.
  • Add a cup of hot water, salt to taste and corriander leaves.
  • Stir well.
  • Keep aside.
  • Put the fried kofta in the masala.
  • Pour fresh cream over the kofta and serve hot with Basmati rice!
