The flavor of this recipe is really good, but I found that the sauce was so thin that it made the fried chicken mushy (it did not stay crispy, as with other Asian fried chicken recipes that I've made, which sort of defeats the purpose of the deep frying). If I make it again, I'd probably add a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. I was looking for a recipe similar to Bon Chon's soy garlic chicken, and this wasn't it, but it was still delicious.
