Directions

  1. Mix butter, powdered sugar, flour, vanilla and walnuts together.
  2. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut.
  3. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour to make a crisscross pattern.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar. (Use red and green sugars for Christmas).
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
