  1. I love sweet potatoes, and love them with brown sugar. This is my first time to add ginger, and it will not be my last. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe. Made for ZWT8.

  2. Absolutely delicious! I would never think to add ginger to this and it's a perfect compliment. I cut back on the butter and brown sugar but they were also very good in this. I would definitely make this again! Made for ZWT8. Thanks Mikekey! :)

  3. Simple yet restaurant quality. And it can be made ahead and frozen - SCORE. I used 1 yam and about a 1/2 lb of butternut squash. Super easy and the ginger is so fun in these potatoes. I think you could easily make these non-fat by using a little starch water instead of butter. I made mine vegan with Earth Balance. Good stuff - thanks for sharing! 4. Yum!! These sweet potatoes are absolutely delicious. I normally add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and a pinch of ginger powder to sweet potatoes, but the fresh ginger was a wonderful surprise. It compliments the sweet potato so well and adds a little zing along the way. I am a ginger lover and found that I couldn't stop eating this stuff. Delicious!! Thank you for sharing this fabulous, easy recipe...it is definitely a keeper!!<br/>**Made for Football Pool 2012**
