Lasagna

"This is the best lasagna ever. I always have people ask me for this recipe. the prep does take some time its actually the clean up that takes time but its well worth the work. This recipe freezes well. sometimes I make two of them in two 9s9-inch dishes and freeze one of them."

  1. This was enjoyed by everyone at the table. It is a relatively quick and easy lasagna. The meat sauce is very nice. I think next time I will add some onions. I think that my husband was glad that it didn't have spinach in it! The family couldn't wait for it to set up so it was served a bit sloppy. For those who went for seconds the pieces held together very well. I know I will use this recipe again. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

  2. I have used this recipe several times and it always turns out great. Of course a really good cook/chef takes a recipe and makes it their own by adding their own special touch. But if you don't cook like that and you like to follow a recipe to a tee then this is the one for you. It definately has the yum factor in my house and I have the pickiest eaters. Thanks Chef Nic.

  3. I have to agree with chef Nic. This is the best Lasagna I have ever eaten.Even my italian husband agrees it is better than his momma's and ain't nothin better than your Italian mammas cookin. This lasagna is full of flavor and really moist yet it still holds it shape well when serving.I have served it twice to guests so far and both times received rave reveiws. Each time I make it I crave more for days and my young kids love it as well. Thanks chef Nic this one is a real winner

  4. Thought this recipe was a good basic version for lasagna. Definitely edible to the last serving but the 'oh yum' factor wasn't as high as anticipated.
