  1. Even though I love the traditional lasagna with ricotta filling, I thought this would be fun to try. The sauce is so easy and "fuss-free!" I halved the recipe, using 3 layers of 2 noodles in a small rectag. casserole dish. This turned out delicious, a good compromise between lasagna and spaghetti with meat sauce! I used no boil noodles and they worked out well. Also, my son ate his portion (no complaints!) and he doesn't like lasagna, so that's a big compliment. It's probably the cheese filling that he doesn't like! Thanks for sharing your family recipe, TLC. Roxygirl
