Laura's Meatloaf

"This is one of the first meals I made when I started out cooking for my husband. I was lucky to come across this recipe for meatloaf in a church cookbook because it is one of our favorites even today. I have tried other meatloafs but none of them taste like this one..."

  1. For this recipe I only omitted the salt. It's a wonderful meatloaf. The glaze on top is so good. The taste of the meatloaf is also great. The time of cooking was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing in this recipe. Thanks Tinkerbell's Mommy :) Made for Best of 2011 tag game

  2. We all loved this for dinner last night. It sliced beautifully and the topping was great. Made for PAC Fall 2011.

  3. This was a good recipe for meatloaf but mine still fell apart. I would have thought with all that oatmeal it would hold together. Plus next time I will add some more spices as it was a bit bland unless you got a dollop of the sweet sauce. That was the best part.

  4. This is a great meatloaf recipe! Easy to make, the taste superb, and it held together really well when sliced! My wife, who tends to watch her weight, said the heck with that and had extras. That doesn't happen often!
