  1. This is MY FIRST review ever!!!! I had to jump in and say this is the easiest, tastiest, banana cream pie! My 15 year old son just whipped this up on the spur of the moment. To make it even easier, he used Cool Whip for the cream topping. I was not expecting much from instant pudding, packaged graham cracker crust and whipped topping, but boy, was I wrong! It was absolutely delicious. My family devoured it! They raved about it for a couple of days and he made it again...same reaction! WE LOVE IT!!!

  2. This pie was creamy and easy to make. It tastes divine. Thanks for posting this recipe. I used banana pudding instead of the vanilla. I would highly recommend this recipe!

  3. Wonderful Pie..... :) The kids were trying to lick their elbows.....one wanted more of the pudding portion next time and less whip.....the other two thought it was just right :)

  4. I made this with instant banana pudding instead of vanilla and served it individual cups w/ a graham cracker on the bottom, instead of in a crust. Even though I'm not a big fan of packaged foods, this is the best banana cream pie I have made yet! Thanks for the easy, and tasty recipe! Looks like I just might have to keep a few boxes of pudding on hand now!

  5. My step-daughter makes an awesome banana pie, but it's so involved and time consuming. This pie tastes exactly the same and is SOOOO much easier. I did add a half cup of powdered sugar to the pudding mixture, and cheated and used RediWhip. The boys at work devoured it in minutes. Thanks for posting this tasty and easy recipe.

I'm a stay at home mom with 3 adorable children-an 8 year old daredevil son, a 5 1/2 year old princess and a wild little 2 year old girl! I love to cook, and like having my little helpers in the kitchen! I usually love recipes that are completely from scratch (I still love them actually) but right now my focus is on having any kind of food ready by mealtime! It's a little crazy here lately. Every summer we have a huge organic garden, apple orchard and raspberry and blueberry patches, along with a woods full of wild foods waiting for me to learn what they are so I can collect them. I'm learning about wild mushrooms first, so if anyone has any tips, let me know. We also eat wild venison which my husband and I hunt ourselves. It's our favorite meat, since it's lean, organic and cheap! Some of my hobbies are: hiking, biking, rock climbing, gardening, playing in the water with my kids, or just swinging in the hammock with a good book. I go stir crazy if I spend too much time inside.
