Layered Taco Dip
"This is my all-time favorite taco dip recipe. It is unlike most other taco dips as the cream cheese mixture is not mixed with taco seasoning. I bring this to all the parties!"

- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (can use more or less depending on taste)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) bottle taco sauce
- 1 bunch green leaf lettuce, shredded
directions
- Mix together cream cheese, sour cream and garlic powder.
- Spread evenly over serving dish.
- Sprinkle chopped onion and green pepper over cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle chopped tomato over onion & green pepper.
- Sprinkle cheese over tomato.
- Drizzle taco sauce evenly over mixture.
- Place shredded lettuce over top.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
