Directions

  1. Cook noodles as directed on package.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan with the noodles.
  3. In medium sized bowl mix cottage cheese, egg and 1/2 tsp of onion salt together.
  4. Spread of noodles.
  5. cover with another layer of noodles.
  6. Now mix cheddar cheese with potato, salt, 1/2 tsp of onion salt and pepper.
  7. Spread this over noodles.
  8. Cover with yet another layer of noodles.
  9. Melt butter in frying pan and sauté onion slowly until clear and soft.
  10. Pour over noodles and cover.
  11. Bake 30 minutes in 350° oven.
  12. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
  13. Serve with sour cream and grated cheddar.
  14. Yummy.
