Directions

  1. Mix honey and molasses together and bring to a boil.
  2. Cool thoroughly.
  3. Stir in sugar, egg, lemon juice and rind.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the above.
  5. Mix in citron and nuts.
  6. Chill dough overnight.
  7. Roll small amount at a time.
  8. Keep rest chilled.
  9. Roll 1/4 inch thick.
  10. Cut 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
  11. Place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet.
  12. Bake until no imprint remains when lightly touched.
