  • Fry onions gently in the oil until translucent.
  • Add the capsicums and simmer with the lid on for 15 minutes until going soft.
  • Add the tinned tomates and seasonings and simmer for another 15 minutes until everyting is soft, adjust seasonings and serve.

  1. My Hungarian Mother in Law adds rice and a good hungarian farmers sausage to this and a bit of dried chilies for a little heat. Then it is served as a main dish.
     
  2. I love this recipe. Next time I make it, I would like to put it in mason jars to have some all winter. Can I do that?
