Leftover fruits breakfeast salad

"I know it sounds weird, but hey, give it a go! I had all these items on my counter one morning, they were ripe and needed to be used, and I needed breakfeast. It turned out so delicious, that I make a regular staple in our home. I also serve it on top of baby greens for a great dinner salad."

  1. Very refreshing and differnt. I love avocado and am always looking for ways to use it.

  2. This is a perfect blend of flavors. The tartness of the oranges, grapes and strawberries was really enhanced by the creamy avocado. Salt and pepper on the fruit really bring out the flavors. Perfect way to start the day.

  3. What an inspired salad, Nat Da Brat. It's not strawberry season here right now so I used an apple and loved it. It's amazing what the orange and avocado create when combined; awesome. Don't skip the pepper- it really added to the salad. Did I mention how attractive this is?

  4. Really excellent fruit salad. I have been eyeing this one for awhile but kept not having the right ingredients. My orange and strawberries were of excellent quality, and my grapes (red) were good. My avocado was only so-so but it gave the salad such a nice creamy kick. I keep thinking of how wonderful this would be if the avocado were really excellent. Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us. I really loved it.
