  1. Nice, light dressing- I used a little lemon juice and 1 tbls. zest instead of the balm. Thanks

  2. A very "summery" dressing with a nice light flavor. I served it on a salad made with fresh spinach leaves. For the vinegar I used recipe #2880. (Herbal Vinegar With Lemon Verbena & Mint-I guess we can't link recipes in our reviews anymore) I would cut the amount of garlic in half for my own tastes, though.

  3. This is a wonderfully, light dressing and a great use for that lemon balm that's coming up in the garden. I would suggest using your best EVOO, because flavor is so important here. If you want a less "garlicky" flavor, cut back on it. Raw garlic does tend to overpower. Personally though, I love it. I would however suggest adding a little lemon zest to bump up that lemon flavor and a splash of FRESH (never bottled) lemon juice. It's all the better for it. Miraklegirl...lol....basically, omitting the lemon balm, you just made a lemon vinaigrette dressing. This would also make a great marinade for chicken or fish.
