Lemon Cake

"I tried out this adopted recipe today, and must say the results were disappointing. I have to admit, the lack of detailed instructions, and any provision for leavening made me suspect it from the start. I added some baking powder to the rest of the batter and am trying again. I would not recommend this unless you are feeling very adventuresome. I do hope to get it right and repost the recipe with a picture some day."

  • Sift together dry ingredients.
  • Gradually blend in wet ingredients until combined.
  • Bake in little lemon shaped molds at 350 for 20 min until set.
  • Let cool.
