  • 8 fresh mint sprigs
  • 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
  • 8 ounces Bourbon
  • 1 pint lemon sorbet
  • 8 ounces club soda
  • ice cubes or cracked ice

  • Place 2 mint sprigs and 1/2 teaspoon sugar in each of 4 old-fashioned glasses.
  • Muddle until the mint is well bruised and crushed.
  • Divide the bourbon among the glasses.
  • Add 2 scoops of the lemon sorbet to each glass.
  • Top with club soda and serve, adding ice if desired.
