  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325 for glass loaf dish).
  • Cream sugar, butter, eggs and milk.
  • Sift in dry ingredients.
  • Add lemon rind.
  • Bake for approximately one hour.
  • GLAZE DIRECTIONS.
  • Mix well. Warm in oven for a few minutes after removing loaf.
  • Spoon over loaf while still warm but cooling on cake rack. (After approximately 10-15 minutes of cooling.).
