Lemon (Or Lime) Sugar (Or Salt) Scrub

"This recipe will gently exfoliate your hands and/or feet and remove dead skin, leaving you refreshed, soft and silky. You can be pretty experimental with the quantities of each ingredient; it's forgiving and well-adapted to suit each user. Keeps 1-2 weeks in the refrigerator. Great gift in a tightly-capped jar!"

  1. I was very pleasantly surprised with this. I chose this one because the ratio seemed better than some of the other recipes, less oil involved. I used lemon juice and sugar and it worked really well. Thanks for saving me some money!

  2. It's really good! I also added some lime zest to it for an extra smell once I use it on anywhere I have dead skin it leaves a new and soft skin

  3. I've been using for a long time a salt face scrub, but never thought of adding lemon to it. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Fantastic! Used Morton Sea Salt and loved it.

  5. Great scrub! I used lemon and kosher salt and I plan on trying salt/lime next time. I've made scrubs at home before, but I liked that this one wasn't too oily. I also liked that it made enough for a few applications, but won't last several months, like most store bought scrubs do. It did make me crave a margarita, though! So I bought more salt and several limes at the store today--for next time! Thanks for posting!
