  1. Excellent! Changed nothing, but I did rinse the uncooked rice under cold water for two minutes prior to cooking.

  2. Fantastic!! All of my 4 children AND my husband loved this recipe and told me to make it a keeper. Very easy to make too. I used jasmine rice, but you could use whatever your favorite is-- assuming you adjust cooking time as needed.

  3. I really loved this! I made it to go with some broiled fish, and the flavors were really nice together. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Yummy! This was very, very good. Mine came out really creamy and tasted great! I also added 2 chopped green onions to the pot. I will be making this often. Thanks, GailAnn.

  5. Delicious! I served this with some scallops and a veggie. It went perfectly, the slight hint of lemon and the fluffy rice. Yummy.; Thank you for sharing this rice dish with us.

Tweaks

  1. I made this to go along with some spicy sauteed shrimp and a veggie. Instead of the carrot, I used mushrooms and onions, I added 1tsp each of zest and fresh lemon juice. I also used my grater to mince the garlic so I left it in.

  2. Great rice! I left out the carrots and added frozen peas instead. Yum!

  3. I can't believe how good and tasty this is. I used 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil instead of butter. I loved the taste of the carrots in this. This is easy to do. Thanks Gailanng :) Made for PRMR
