ingredients
- 1500 ml of 150 proof Everclear alcohol (or other high proof vodka)
- 5 cups sugar
- 8 cups water
- 20 lemons, zest of
directions
- add lemon zest to alcohol and store for 1 month in cool dry dark place covered.
- dissolve sugar in water boiling, then cool.
- strain zest from alcohol.
- add the sugar water to the vodka and let sit, covered, another month.
