- 1 1⁄4 cups lickety split chocolate pudding mix
- 2 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 egg
- 3⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter
directions
- In the top of a double boiler, combine pudding mix, water, and egg.
- Cook over boiling water until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Cover and cook 10 minutes more.
- Stir in butter.
- Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla.
- Spoon into serving dishes.
