Directions

  1. Combine lime zest and lime juice.
  2. Drop grated apple immediately into the lime juice.
  3. Add honey, raisins, prunes, and dates; mix well; and chill 12-24 hours for flavors to blend.
  4. Just before serving, mix in the pecans or walnuts.
  5. May serve with cream.
